Codeguardian.ai complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as outlined by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This adherence applies to the transfer of non-HR personal data from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, aligning with transfer requirements under applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Codeguardian.ai has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the DPF Principles of notice, choice, accountability for onward transfer, security, data integrity and purpose limitation, access, and recourse, enforcement, and liability with respect to all personal data received from the EU, UK, or Switzerland in reliance on the DPF.
In case of a conflict between this statement and the DPF Principles, the DPF Principles will prevail. Purposes of Data Processing
Codeguardian.ai may act as a data processor or a data controller when processing non-HR personal data transferred from the European Economic Area (EEA) to the United States, depending on the specific products or services provided. The types of non-HR data we collect and process vary based on our business relationships, products or services offered, customer preferences, contractual obligations, and legitimate interests, such as marketing, security, billing, transaction processing, product support, and relationship management, as outlined in our Privacy Statement, Privacy & Product Datasheets, and Customer Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

At the point of data collection or as soon as practicable thereafter, Codeguardian.ai informs data subjects about its data practices, including the types of personal data collected, the purposes of collection and use, third-party disclosures, and the rights of data subjects to access and limit the use of their personal data.

We offer individuals the option to opt-out of personal data sharing or opt-in for sensitive data being disclosed to third parties (other than Codeguardian.ai service providers under contract or as required by law). For personal data processed on behalf of a customer, Codeguardian.ai will work with the customer to address such requests in compliance with applicable law and our DPF obligations.

Codeguardian.ai may transfer personal data to certain third parties, as described in our Customer Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Subprocessors List.
